Spring and Fall Cleanups
Before and after peak growing seasons, properties must be cleared of branches, debris, dead leaves, flowers and plants to maintain appearances and keep the surrounding foliage healthy.
Spring Cleanups are available in late March and early April, depending on weather conditions and the last of winter’s snowfall. During a Spring Cleanup we remove any fallen branches and leaves from lawns and maintained areas. Cut back perennials, trim bushes, edge garden beds and edge your lawn along sidewalks, curbs and driveways.
Fall Cleanups are available mid-October until all the leaves have fallen. When the leaves begin to fall, its time to get them off the lawn, out of the beds to keep them from impeding the growth of plants and grasses competing for growth under declining light levels and cooler temperatures. We also cut back perennials, lightly trim bushes, remove annuals and any weeds in garden beds.
Spring and Fall are natural times to reassess your landscape design and make plans to augment or change direction. We can advise you on the optimal time to install seasonal plantings, trees and shrubs.
Just Need Leaf Removal?
Our Leaf Cleanups include collecting all leaves present on property. We offer two different options. Please see below.
Mulching - this will involve using a mower to finely chop leaves and disperse back onto the lawn, these mulched leaves will then break down over time and provide nutrients to your soil. Curbside - this method will involve using a leaf blower to blow and place all leaves on the curb for city curbside pickup. *Only available if city offers curbside leaf pickup.
